Earn credit for prior learning (CPL) for the college-level knowledge and skills that you’ve already acquired through advanced high school classes, previous college coursework, self-study, military training, work or volunteer experience. High School Dual Credit >

Wisconsin high school students can take courses that count toward both high school and college requirements.

Transfer Credits from Other Colleges >

If you've completed coursework at another accredited college or university, you may be able to transfer those credits to WCTC.

Credit by National Exams >

Earn WCTC credit by completing national exams including AP, IB, CLEP and DSST. 

Credit for Life/Work Experience >

Demonstrate the course-equivalent skills that you developed through work, volunteer, education, training or other life learning experiences.

Credit for Industry Credentials >

Earn WCTC credit for the industry credentials you have acquired through previous employment or education.

Credit for Military Experience >

You can earn credit for what you learned through courses completed and military occupations held during your service.
