This course is designed to introduce criminal investigators and officers to information, intelligence, and evidence potentially recoverable in our communication-based society. The course will focus on common social media/open-source platforms and other open sources for the purpose of the identifying content that is relevant to criminal investigations as well as the means of its preservation.
