The goal of this course is how to investigate felony theft cases, what to focus on and how to prepare your case to acquire a favorable charging decision from the prosecutor’s office. Topics inlcude:
Theft (Basic Fraud): Check Fraud, Credit Card Fraud, Gift Card Fraud
Theft by Trustee: Capacity vs. Competency, Power of Attorney Theft
Theft by Virtue of Employment: Embezzlement (Payroll and Vendor Fraud)
