Description
This course is intended to provide school administrators and nurses with a systematic approach to recognizing the signs and symptoms of individuals in the academic environment who are impaired by drugs and/or alcohol in order to:
- Prevent an impaired student from driving away from campus and/or
- Serve as a treatment intervention tool to reduce future instances of DWI.
It is hoped this training will ultimately reduce the number of underage drug and/or alcohol related traffic fatalities.
