Description
Sgt. Knetzger will share his personal story of how he and his family coped with the loss of their 18 year old daughter, Ashley, who was murdered by a drunk driver on a night he was working. Best practices related to grief recovery and police officer support will also be discussed. Sgt. Knetzger will also examine the power of a law enforcement officer’s oath and how ethical protector principles drive our communication skills and the use of force decisions that we make.
