Description
This course is designed to provide post Officer Involved Death information to law enforcement agencies. Some topics covered in this course include: What to expect in regard to an investigation by an outside agency after an OID, as well information about the rights and responsibilities as an officer involved in an OID presented by Attorney Christopher MacGillis of MacGillis Wiemer, LLC. The afternoon will also consist of a panel of officers and/or family members who have been involved in deadly force situations and discuss their individual circumstances and the impact on their lives.
