Description
This course is diverse and relevant, focusing on the bicycle as transportation and as a tool for law enforcement. Special attention is given to bicycle patrol procedures and tactics. This demanding class involves over 20 hours of on-bike time to develop and improve riding skills.
Required Equipment:
Duty Bicycle and safety equipment (helmet, gloves, eye protection)
Repair kit (patch kit, spare tubes, wrenches, etc)
Comfortable riding attire (padded pants/shorts strongly recommended)
Bug spray/susnscreen/waterbottle/other weather related items
Note-taking material
Gun belt and body armor are optional
