Description

The principles of Identifying Deceptive Behavior (IDB) are field verified!  Identifying Deceptive Behavior goes far beyond what is generally presented in traditional classroom settings.  This well-documented class focuses on developing the self-confidence necessary to understand the frequent methods that people utilize to mislead officers each day.  Through practical application, students utilize a variety of methods to expand the skills required for detecting verbal and nonverbal modes of deception.  Through a series of lecture and practical-based programs, students learn to detect deception and avoid familiar pitfalls.

Instructor:

Identifying Deceptive Behavior is presented by Detective Sergeant Dale Sollars, retired, from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.  For over 30 years, he has honed his skills in the art and science of understanding the process of criminal behavior.  His experience in interviewing criminals with a sociopathic mindset and applying his IDB Technique will enhance your ability to close more cases when you interrogate!

Sergeant Sollars is a CALEA Certified Instructor and a Northeast Counterdrug Training Center, Subject-Matter Expert in the use and application of the IDB Technique.
