Description
This course is designed to increase an officers survivability while working in a low light environment. Officers will be taught how to identify different lighting conditions. Officers will develop their skills using artificial light to gain a tactical advantage on the streets. These skills include flashlight techniques, movement, visual information processing. This course will include a low light live fire component.
Required Equipment for Students:
1. Flashlights (bringing more than one is recommended)
2. Duty belt with firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition
3. Patrol Rifle with 25 rounds of ammunition
3. Body armor
4. Eye and ear protection (Headphone style is required by WCTC)
