| Description EVOC/Firearms EVOC A series of driving techniques tailored to enhance safe emergency vehicle responses; vehicle contact techniques that emphasize reaction to sudden assaults, or their early warning signs.
Firearms Training o Fundamentals of handgun and rifle marksmanship to include stance, grip, sighting and trigger control. o Proper 4 step draw/movement to cover. o Proper communication and follow-through techniques. o Transitioning between Use of Force Options.
Mandatory Equipment: DUTY FIREARM w/ 3 mags PATROL RIFLE w/ sling and 3 mags 50rds HANDGUN AMMO 50rds RIFLE AMMO EYE/EAR PROTECTION Duty belt, holster, Taser holster, flashlight, baton holder, handcuffs, keepers, loose fitting clothes, pants, belt, and body armor. Dress for weather conditions. |
