The Co-op/Internship Department is located in the Workforce
Development Center. Co-op/Internship is an educational program
that gives students the opportunity to gain practical paid work
experience in their areas of study. Participating businesses and
agencies provide a supervised learning environment in which students,
employers and Waukesha County Technical College cooperate in relating
classroom instruction to on-the-job training. Representatives
from the Co-op Department arrange for worksite partnerships between
employers and students. Placements are generally part-time and
can be one or two semesters in length. Students earn credit for
the experiences participating businesses provide. For additional
information on the Co-op/Internship Program, call 262.695.7803.
