The Intermediate to Paramedic Transition program has been approved by DHFS to qualify currently licensed EMT-Intermediates to seek State licensure as an EMT-Paramedic. While the program requires students to take all Paramedic didactic courses offered in the Paramedic program, the hours of additional clinical and field time are reduced by approximately 240 hours when compared to someone enrolled in the full Paramedic program.
