10-credit technical diploma

Advanced skills in life support interventions, patient assessment, and airway techniques will be covered. Administering intravenous fluids, drugs for shock and drugs used in diabetic emergencies will also be covered. A State of Wisconsin EMT - Basic License is required to enroll in this program.

Admissions Process

• Must be age 18 or older
• Candidates sponsored by a Waukesha District fire department or ambulance service are given priority for class enrollment
• State of WI EMT – Basic License required
