The WCTC Harry V. Quadracci Printing and Graphics Center was
built through a collaborate effort among education, industry
and government.
In 1999, Waukesha County residents passed a referendum that authorized
a major expansion of the campus that included a $5.4 million
printing center. Professionals from local printing firms worked
closely with WCTC officials to select equipment for the new
building, design the facility's layout and create the curriculum
for academic programming. The 55,000 square-foot facility opened
in 2001 and now offers spacious lab accomodations that are based
on an industry model of production set-up and layout, so students
can follow a job in the same work flow they would find in industry.
In 2002, the facility was renamed the Harry V. Quadracci Printing
and Graphics Center. Harry Quadracci was deeply committed to
education and believed that training and education enable indivduals
to achieve their goals and dreams. WCTC shares that vision.
