Radiography Informational Video:
Through a consortium effort with
Milwaukee Area Technical College, the
Radiography program is the first step
toward a career in diagnostic radiology
(x-ray). The radiographer is a technologist
who produces images of the human body
to aid physicians in the diagnosis of
injuries and diseases. Typical duties
include positioning patients to acquire
needed films, selecting appropriate
x-ray exposure factors, aligning x-ray
equipment, processing images
photographically or electronically,
and storing and retrieving images.
Graduates of this program are eligible
to take the entry-level certification
examination administered by the
American Registry of Radiography
Technologists (ARRT). This program
is accredited by the Joint Review
Committee on Education in Radiology,
