About the Program
| 32-credit technical diploma The Practical Nursing Technical Diploma program provides a challenging system-wide curriculum that prepares students to take the licensing exam to become a practical nurse. Gain knowledge and skills that are essential in the current health care delivery system. A foundation in communication and science permits theory-based progression through clinical nursing courses that provide clinical experience in institutional and community-based settings. The emphasis in the curriculum is on diversity, individuality and caring. In addition, the program encourages commitment to lifelong learning and continuous personal and professional development.
