Basic Nursing Assistant (543-300)

Basic 120-hour Nursing Assistant classes are offered throughout the semester. 

Med/Surg Nursing Review (510-401) Internet only

Gain current knowledge in medical-surgical nursing. Common diseases and disorders of the adult will be discussed via DVD's with PowerPoint and quiz. It includes etiology, pathophysiology, treatments, and nursing implications. Taught by advanced practice nurses in specialty practice, you will learn the basis for the care you are giving to patients. This course is nursing theory update only. There will not be a nursing skills review or clinical portion provided.

Physical Assessment-Nurses (510-187)

Physical assessment–including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological systems. This compact course will cover the basics of head to toe assessment. It will also include hands on practice. Recommended text available at WCTC bookstore. The cost is $106.85.

Phlebotomy/Health Professions (513-120)
