Gain hands-on experience installing,
configuring and managing Linux.
Through the Linux Administrator ATC,
students will learn to design, implement,
maintain and support information
systems in a wide variety of computing
environments using the Linux operating
system. A few of the topics covered
include the use of text editors,
management of packages and shared
libraries, customization of the boot
process using various boot loaders,
understanding network security within
a Linux system, support of a Linux
system using command line and GUI
tools and more.
Upon completion, students will be able
to take the CompTIA Linux+ certification
exam at the WCTC Pearson VUE Testing
Center.
