  How to Apply to WCTC
  International Student Admissions Process

    Admissions Process for Initial Entry for F-1 Visa Students
    (Steps #1-4 must be completed prior to the admissions decision.)

    If you are an International Student on any other visa type contact the Admissions Office before beginning the admissions process.

    1. Complete WCTC International Student Application. (Attach $100 application fee in the form of a bank draft or money order payable in US dollars.) International Applicants must also submit a WCTC application. Obtain an Application for Admission from the WCTC Admissions Office by calling 262.691.5200, faxing 262.695.3464 or stopping in the office located at WCTC-College Center, Room 019.     2. Submit academic credentials – only original or attested photocopies of original academic transcripts will be accepted. Academic records issued in languages other than English must be accompanied by officially certified (school issued) with complete and literal English translations.

      All documents that you submit, or are submitted on your behalf, become the property of the College, and will not be released to you or any other party.

    3. Provide evidence of English Language Proficiency.
      • Applicants for whom English is a second language must demonstrate proof of English competency by taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). A minimum TOEFL score of 625 for PBT; 210 for CBT or 84 for the IBT is necessary to be admitted.
      • Applicants who are in the U.S. must complete the COMPASS/ESL Admissions test requirement prior to enrollment.

    4. Complete Affidavit of Support and Sponsorship Agreement.

    5. Student must provide proof of comprehensive Health/Accident Insurance, including coverage for repatriation.

    6. University/College Coursework completed outside the United States must be submitted to Educational Credential Evaluators for an official evaluation of earned foreign credentials. ECE will provide an official report to WCTC. Only course-by-course evaluation reports will be accepted for credit transfer purposes. Otherwise, applicants should request a “General Report” for degree verification purposes.

      All documents that you submit, or are submitted on your behalf, become the property of the College, and will not be released to you or any other party.

    7. Some academic programs have additional requirements (CPR certification, Portfolio Review, Good Driving Record, Criminal Background Check, etc.). You will be notified if the program for which you are applying has additional requirements.

    Once all of these items are provided, International Applicants will be contacted regarding next steps, including issuance of the I-20 form ($100 SEVIS Fee).
