Heart Healthy Waukesha
County is a growing, pro-active partnership of healthcare providers,
educational institutions, businesses, government, and community
based organizations with a shared mission to improve the cardiovascular
health of Waukesha County.
Heart Healthy Waukesha
County launched in January 2003 as an initiative of the Waukesha
County Health Council in partnership with the Center for Quality
and Innovation of Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC).
Numerous other community,
county and state organizations are involved in planning and carrying
out project activities. They provide guidance, oversight, informational
materials, and speakers for HHWC activities. Organizations that
