Counseling/Advising Services
WCTC Counselors are credentialed and certified professionals who are available to assist students with academic, personal and career counseling needs. All programs have assigned Counselors or Academic Advisors who have in depth knowledge about the demands and requirements of the specific instructional area. The counseling/advising staff are dedicated to assisting students in accomplishing their educational goals. Counselors and Academic Advisors function as student advocates. Counselors assist in crisis intervention and provide referrals to external agencies as needed. Counselors are also involved in retention activities and provide seminars and workshops that foster student success.
Counseling/Advising services are free and confidential. Counselors/Advisors are available by appointment and walk-ins.
