The Radiography program will not be open to new applicants for the Fall 2012 start.
A radiographer produces images of the human body to aid physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and diseases. You will learn to perform duties including positioning patients to acquire needed films, selecting appropriate x-ray exposure factors, aligning x-ray equipment, processing images photographically or electronically, and storing and retrieving images.
- This Milwaukee Area Technical College program is being offered at WCTC through a consortium effort that combines course work at WCTC, MATC and on-site classes.
- Upon program completion, be prepared to take the entry-level certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiography Technologists (ARRT).
