Why did you choose WCTC?
"I toured other cosmetology schools but this is a smaller environment and very hands on. This is warm and inviting like a real salon. We are also graded on life skills that are taught in all the programs. I think it is really cool. In a sense, they teach you to be a better person."
What do employers think about the program?
"Salons have definitely heard about WCTC. WCTC has a lot of apprentices out in the field who are working at high-end salons and are very successful. They are expecting the same from students coming out of this new full-time program."
What is your must memorable experience here?
"Probably the first time working with a client -- just the feeling you get from the moment they come in and how nervous you are when you start talking to them. They ask you questions and you can actually answer them. It's cool because you have the knowledge."
