Develop your resume step by step in this 2 hour workshop. Computer skills not required.
Resume Review/Lab
Learn the basics of creating a resume, update your resume or have your resume reviewed by professional resume development staff. Call 262.695.7848 to sign up for a 1-hour session during lab times listed on the calendar. The session includes a 15 minute 1-on-1 review of your draft resume and access to computers. Prepare a draft by viewing our Resume PowerPoint. Basic computer skills are required to attend this lab.
Emailing Resumes/Cover Letters
Learn the proper way to email your resume and cover letters. Also covered are proper methods of copying and pasting to on-line job applications. Learn the difference and when to use plain text formatted resumes and how to convert your resume. More effective e-mail addressing is also discussed. No fee.
Age is an Advantage
Learn how to manage issues of age discrimination, stereotyping of older workers and the "overqualified" judgment that mature workers often hear. Consider employment in areas in which age can be an asset. No fee.
