This course is designed to present practical information to persons seriously considering starting their own business. The intent of the course is to help potential small business owners better understand what it takes to start and successfully manage a small business. Some of the topics will include marketing, business plans, accounting, government requirements and insurance. Following completion of this course, enrollment in course 145-465 Develop Your Own Business is highly recommended.Prerequisite(s)
