145-417 Social Media for Business
A powerful series of four classes designed to provide individuals with a detailed understanding of social networking tools. It will also provide business owners and entrepreneurs with the knowledge needed to strengthen their brand, drive traffic to their website and grow their business using social media marketing techniques. Students will create profiles on three of the most widely used social networking sites available today; Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. They will set up a blog and learn how to use these tools to create a powerful marketing engine that has the potential of delivering their message to literally thousands of their target market customers. Through classroom instruction, homework assignments and case studies, students will learn the basics of how social networking and social media marketing can be one of the most cost effective ways available today to increase their bottom line.Prerequisite(s)
