General Aviation Registration and Training

There are three different GA Security courses available. The course you take depends upon the size, number and type of aircraft, airport location, and other airport characteristics. We have developed a selector tool that consists of several questions about your base airport that will guide you to the right course. To get started, follow the steps listed below:

  1. To register and begin the General Aviation Security Training you must first complete the GA Security “Selector Tool” to assist you in choosing the appropriate level (I, II or III) of training that meets your individual airport specifications.
  2. After completing the Course Selector Tool assessment you will be notified of your airport's level classification and the course level that you will register for.
  3. At the end of the Course Selector Tool assessment you will be provided with a web link to access the online training system.
  4. When you arrive at the new GA Security training website:
    • click the Create New User button.
    • fill in the user data and select the appropriate airport training level (I, II or III) in the Airport Level drop down box.
    • accept the terms of use agreement.
  5. Your course will appear in the Curriculum List and click the blue "Go" button twice to go to the course menu.
  6. Click the "Launch" button to begin your course.

Start the GA Security Course Selector Tool

After completing the Course Selector Tool you may also directly link to the training system.
